Stephanie Sabin

Ms. Stephanie Sabin, Soprano, has a 25+ year career of performance, teaching and
production. Most recently, Ms. Sabin has moved to the Salt Lake area and is honored to be performing with the talented musicians of the Salt Lake Symphony led by Dr. Robert Baldwin. Her oratorio solo work includes: Schubert’s Mass in G, Bach’s Kaffee Kantate & Magnificat, Faure’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Exulsate Jubilate, Handel’s Messiah, Brahms’ Requiem as well as a part of the choruses for Verdi’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Israel in Egypt, and many others.


As a trained classical vocalist, she maintains a thriving online vocal studio
(www.sabinvocalstudio.com). She has produced, staged and performed her original concert Les Chemins de L’Amour which has been performed in the United States and abroad (2010-2018). In 2014, she was involved in the world premiere of Katie Luther: The Opera, as Artistic Director and in the title role. The work is written and composed by Glenn Winters, produced by Everyday Opera. In the fall of 2014, she had the privilege of co-authoring, coordinating and lead teaching the new education outreach program for San Diego Opera. From 2011 – 2013
she was Composer-in-Residence for SDO’s Words and Music! education outreach program. She has also been an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) San Diego Chapter. At the local chapter level, she was Chapter Board President from 2018-2021.


Ms. Sabin has enjoyed being Music Director, Conductor and Stage director for many high school, college and professional productions in San Diego, CA. Most notable productions include, Violet, (Coronado Playhouse), Once on this Island (Pacific Ridge School), Avenue Q, and Kiss Me Kate (Canyon Crest Academy), Guys and Dolls and Oklahoma (St Augustine High School). She has been a featured performer in various venues including the Utah Festival Opera, Opera Idaho, Lyric Opera of San Diego, Coronado Playhouse, San Diego Symphony and San Diego Opera.
